If we know enough to say the solar system is a filigree construction, we might reasonably assume we know where all its bits are. But lurking in the solar system's dark recesses, rumour has it, is an unsighted world - Planet X, a frozen body perhaps as large as Mars, or even Earth is going to collide with our planet somewhere in 2012/13.
One of the most respected science journals, Nature, reported that three-quarters of the Earth's species are wiped out every 62 to 65 million years. It's been 65 million years since the Cretaceous-Tertiary disaster that wiped out the dinosaurs. Are we at the end of our time?
There have been many ends and just as many beginnings.
When The World Ends - It Won't Be The First Time - And Perhaps Not The Last!
Although I don't see any convincing hard evidence that Planet X is the "end of time" as we know it, I can't help but wonder...
As my mind wonders, this mix appears! cheers
